He's not good.

Hiring two inept coordinators in a row has set this team back far more than anything Demeco has brought to the table. It's been a net negative overall for Demeco's regime.

And I love Demeco.

I never thought Caley would be a downgrade from Slowik.

This is what many were saying in the off-season, as the hired were being made.

 

When the game announcers can tell what you’re about to do and even say “don’t run it , you got to throw it, you’re just not built for it” and yet the OC calls to run it again and it completely fail as predicted then it’s time to call it what it is. Your OC coach isn’t good enough to recognize his personnel and shouldn’t be calling plays. We need to play to our strengths but it looks like we’re trying to play to a system, which is what an inexperienced coach would do.

Not only did he run the play once...he did it again. It was clear it wasn't working. It was clear that roll outs WERE working and yet...
