Pretty sure I recently saw a post in one of these threads that claimed what you see in that photo are victims of a setup. The person was seemingly serious, not even trolling. How is someone like that able to function in society?

 

I don't understand either. It's some kind of coping mechanism. They repeatedly tell themselves an alternate version of events because the truth dismantles their entire belief system..

 

On a related note, has anyone met someone who was pretty deep into the MAGA world but was able to crawl back out of it? Come back to sanity...
I feel like it's an insurmountable task.

Can anybody parse the inscrutable President Trump, who spent the weekend - when not committing crimes & then telling reporters about crimes he's going to commit, and how he can commit crimes - in those rare moments where he can actually put together a sentence,

1)Posting videos of him taking a **** on the country

2)Literally demolishing the Whites house with an excavator to building some shitty gold ballroom nobody wants or needs

3) all illegally during a government shutdown, caused by him declaring himself a king with unilateral control over the entire Treasury

Need some think pieces to figure out what this guy's on about

As to whether Trump knowingly is an agent of a foreign government hell bent on destroying the United States of America - who knows?

But if he weren't - what precisely would he do differently?

Literally destroying our economy our shared culture, our government and our national symbols

Just depraved.

What planet are you living on? The economy is booming, the border is secure, wars are ending, inflation is now below 3% (under Biden it got to 9%), and investment is pouring into the USA. By any standard, Trump is absolutely delivering the goods.

Are you implying that the men who led the country to victory in its two most consequential wars can hold a candle to the man who miraculously ended a border conflict between Albania and Azerbaijan, two countries that don't even share a border??

 

If Trump decided to invade Canada, Greenland, Mexico, Venezuela etc and then talks himself out of it, does that count as a war Trump stopped?

 

How? For the last decade plus we have seen a consistent effort to gas light what "truth" is. It has started with "alternative facts" and "fake news" and continued and increased.
