Hahahaha you’ve got to be kidding? If that lead holds, of all guys to do that to Seatlle, bwaaaaaahhhhaaa,
The decisions managers make, I tell ya. Just made no sense whatsoever to chase that game yesterday with Bazardo for 2 innings, and even Brash for an inning. Totally changed how you were gonna attack the game after the starter was pulled. So did he pull Kirby an inning too soon? Obviously he'll be questioned from here to eternity about letting Woo pitch a 3rd inning and especially waiting until 2 men were on with nobody out to pull him. But if Bazardo doesn't pitch yesterday, Seattle is setup for a Bazardo/Brash/Munoz close of the last 3 innings. You can't tell me the 2 innings he pitched yesterday didn't affect him tonight. He was terrible and lucky he didn't give more runs. Now flip it to Toronto and you're probably not looking at Hoffman being available to close because you got super aggressive and having him pitch the last two innings last night with a 4 run lead. That's a dubious decision at a minimum. Good luck in the 9th. Maybe score another couple of runs.
Munoz got lucky as hell. That ball was smacked but because there was a man on 1st, naylor was right there.
