    hard to bet against Amen

we all know Amen is a proven winner especially in last years playoffs knows his limitations knows in order to win not only to stop your opponent from having good shots but also as a team to take the best shots possible and making them

and we all know Amen will work on every aspect of his game just to win like ball handling, shooting, etc..

I won't be surprised with his added minutes role usage and shots his efficiency willl stay relatively the same - around 55% if not still the best on the team

"Potentially" better is blind faith though lol. Also Reed's been given a opportunity but he's a liability on defense so far. Dont make excuses

No kid, me talking about his potential based on his performance the few times he's been given a bit of opportunity is not blind faith.... blind faith is people like you that kept calling Jalen Green Kobe Bryant despite nothing but pathetic performances for 4 years.

Also, you talking about defense when your boy was a bottom 10 defender in the league for years is pretty hilarious.

Perhaps basketball just isn't your sport.

Based off performance? JD Davison has shown to be a better overall player than Reed. Why the excuses? It seems you're STILL obsessed with Jalen

Like I said, it's obvious basketball isn't your sport, you have no clue what you are seeing when you attempt to watch.

    It is what it is.

Well, my opinion seems to be closer to Ime's than yours. So I guess basketball isn't the Rockets coach sport either

I know Reed's defense doesnt always look textbook, but I think Ime needs to just let him play. He's going to give up some easy stuff at this point in his career but overall I think hos impact on the court will be more positive than negative.

To compare it to football, I think he plays more like a polamalu or even a jj watt...sometimes they free lance and just go off instincts and itll get you burned at times but the splash plays they made is what makes them the players they were.

I know that can be scary as a coach, but I think Ime just needs to let him be him.

yes, he is. Especially defensively and in the pick-and-roll. Better rebounder

Idk from year 1 to year 2 he averaged THREE more shots a game, to the result of higher FG%, higher 2%, higher 3%, higher eFG%, higher TS%...literally everything but free throws which was dead nut .684 both seasons. Like on one hand I want to say, of course I agree with you and conventional wisdom that someone getting more shots will mean lower efficiency numbers. And the other knows it's unlikely but still just wants to point out that he already improved to that extent once and is seemingly primed for an even bigger step this season.

And I don't say all this to be argumentative with you, I really do agree that it would be extremely difficult to increase everything again. I feel it's likely he will have better FT% an 3%, and maybe a tick off the overall FG% just on higher usage but... I really just want to drive home how dumb whoever posted about him being far away from 20ppg lol... he's going to sleepwalk into 10 buckets a night, literally the reason he isn't already a 2x 20ppg season scorer is that they've had 2 masonry experts at guard for his tenure soaking up twice as many shots as they deserved.

Like he's got so far to go if you define so far to go as October 21st.
