neither tari or dfs are as good of shooters as Reed.

Last season after your 800th negative post about Sheppard I made a comment saying something about tagging you every time he shot a certain % (I’ll have to find the post) and you laughed and maybe mocked me a bit.

I think I should do that. So far he is at 42.9% in the preseason. It’s going to be fun over these coming season watching him improve.

Every player it seems always has at least 1-2 posters single them out and post incessantly. You are Reed’s (good luck to you lol). I forget who Jabari’s was, we may see less from that poster this season looking at how Jabari looks now at the ripe old age of 22.

I’ve been in the not sure bus. But, yes Reed should start when we don’t go double big.
5th starter should be matchup dependent between Reed and Adams.

Preseason is the time to experiment. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Extremely clunky with the double big lineup. They were really sagging off Alpi and Amen. Need to boat race them with Reed in the starting lineup then ground and pound with the double big.

Interesting. This opportunity will be huge for Reed then. If the Rockets don't like what they see, they may not want to pay him $11M next season. He could be on trade watch, depending what happens, but I hope he takes the leap.

Eyeball test shows the offense/ball movement wasn't fluid. We played well due to getting mismatches in the paint when Jabari punished the smaller guy - he's not looking so much as a poor man LaMarcus Aldridge this preseason!
I think our starting lineup will change game-by-game due to matchups. For example, I anticipate we go with our double-big lineup for most of the season, but on back-to-backs Adams will rest and Reed will start.
I think our offense runs more fluid when Reed is starting in the backcourt with Amen.

Dang, that is pretty ridiculous and I am not a Reed supporter, he can play on a few mediocre teams.

    11 million is peanuts.

I never thought i would see the day where an nba fan hated a player to the degree i hate draymond but ros’s hatred for reed could someday get there.

I think some of the biggest issues are related to chemistry and that will work itself out in the first month or so of real games

For Pete's sake...yes, he should start.

    Watch the damn game.

And, if for some reason the job doesn't get done...
Get ready for Devin Booker becoming a Rocket at the deadline.

Reed is shooting 43% from 3 pt, and 50% from the field during the preseason. He is looking way more comfortable bringing the ball up mid court. He is showing defensive tenacity.

yes he gets beat way too much, but I think it’s just getting more playing time.

Last season he looked like a fish out of water way too often, especially when having ball handling responsibilities of a point guard. He looked slow and hesitant.

Sure man but can I tag you 52 times first? He averaged 35% last year on 52 games. Or is it one sided you shut up when he plays bad and then go all tag crazy when he plays well? You should be happy I didnt rub it all over your face last season since he had like 5 good games all season long but here you are acting tough again. What I dont like about you Reedsters you always hide when Reed plays bad and then acts tough when he plays well.

I am on record praising Reed when he does well and telling it like it is when he plays bad. The dude averaged 4 ppg on 35% fg what do you think majority of my posts are gonna be? But thats seen as hate? C'mon man. If Reed got 800 glaize posts from you and he averaged 4 ppg on 35% fg I'd say you are the problem and not me.

The PG skills still need a lot work. Using him in a JJ reddick style of off ball player as a starter and then as a secondary playmaker with the bench units would fit our team as he develops.

Reed and Amen are the backcourt of the future and they will share the PG duties. Neither can do it yet and they have different strengths. They compliment each other well. With SenHub and Jabari looking like Auburn Bari the future is looking so so nice. We just need a Derrick White/Lou Dort type to fill out the roster (could that be Tari?).

He’s trying to hit a home run on every defensive play by getting a turnover. What he needs to do is just be solid and stay in front of his man.

I dont hate Reed when he starts playing like a top 3 pick he gets praise from me. In fact his 2nd preseason game I said a lot of nice things about Reed its in the game thread.

Dude averaged 4 pts on 35% when you say he played bad thats an accurate assessment not hating.

If majority of your posts last year on Reed were positive and he averaged 4 pts on 35% FG then you just arent being objective. Rather than me being a hater its just you being a homer.
