If Jabari can be our Horry, we should be good! So shoot threes at a high clip, defend, block shots, get some dunks on drives and rebound.
Jabari and Amen are picking up where they left off in the playoffs Amen is picking up where he left off in the playoffs and eurobasket
I think Bari is finally approaching the game knowing he can drop 20+ a night. Before, he was just happy to play a role, but you can see he's putting up shots with the expectation that he's a scorer and its his job to score. This undoubtedly is because no more Jalen and Dillon usage that took away from him and maybe hanging off Durant he sees the confidence it takes to be a good player.
Jabari looks like he is finally starting to reach his potential. Nice to know we got him locked up for years to come.
Pels were clamping down on KD and Alpi and Jabari took advantage of either the mouse guarding him or the open floor. He did it with aggression and authority. Reminds me of when Scola had so many double-digit 1st quarters with Yao and McGrady.
26pts 8/8 from the line, hit yall's 40% from 3 on 10 attempts. Only 5 rebs but that's 22.5 min of work. Watch out nerds.
I remember there were idiots who wanted to give up on this guy. 22 years old and with excellent work ethic. Luckily, the idiots are where they belong, on the couch in front of the TV...
We were 16-2 last season when he scored 15+ Also, in his minutes without Jalen Green he worked out to 18ppg equivalence Put those 2 things together and I'm hoping we get this Smith going 15+ ppg - gonna he hard to stop!!
Yeah, I'm thinking 17. Either him or Amen going to be the 3rd scorer, I don't think Amen cares that much about scoring and sees himself as this super utility player so Jabari could fit into that role.
Amen may out score Sengun this year and Sengun will average more assists than Amen. We went to a team that had no one that could effectively attack the paint to a team with multiple initiators. Amen is getting deep in the paint at will. His decision making when he gets there needs some improvement, but like everything else he focuses on that will be corrected in short order. Our offense is so much better, turnovers and all, than with FVV dribbling around the perimeter for 3/4 of the shot clock. Reed is starting to look a little more comfortable on offense. His defense has been awful so far, so he is in trouble of losing minutes if that doesn’t improve. I need to see more of him against starters to really understand how far he has progressed. We really only need him to play average defense and hit 40% from 3.
Bari just looks like a different player. It’s preseason so I can’t get too excited, but he’s less robotic, more assertive, making quick decisions, shooting motion and fluidity looks much better; even the handle looks better. This could be the yr Bari takes that big leap. He’s only 22 yrs old.
