I live here and the discussion has centered around Sarr and Carrington and Bilal to a certain extent. Not much excitement and most of the discussion is about other players and the Wizards decision making.

 

I know everything about everywhere.

They have some good vets, who if they can stay healthy, can help steer the young guys in the right direction

 

so do I. Deanwood. guess we hang around different areas/circles. Folks are tempering their expect of Bubs. Because he has the most limitations of the young core. He’s suppose to be a playmaker but he can’t get downhill or keep teams honest off the dribble.
People are hype for the young players here in general . but I hear the most hype for Tre, Sarr, and Cam

 

Middleton and CJ McCollum - who is always hurt, CJ is very overrated, IMHO.

Whitmore putting up 10 points on solid efficiency while being -27 in a one point game defines him perfectly. Thus far, he’s a decent scorer and an awful overall basketball player.

 

If you really watched the game, you would know Cam hardly touched the ball in 7 minutes. His teammates played horrible in that period time.

People just don't want to see Cam playing good in the Wizards.

 

I find it very hard to believe that Cam Whitmore can become a Leader of Men.

For the Young Players I believe Bilal Coulibaly will become the Leader, he plays Great Defense, All around Game.

 

I watched some of the 1st half against the Knicks and Cam looks like the same exact guy. It's also very hard for me to watch that team. He's mainly getting extended scrub time so far in the preseason. Considering how terrible they are, that will change during the regular season at some point.

Going forward, I'll just wait on his fans here to blow their horns whenever he has good stats like the Eddie Griffins fanatics did.

 

Cam just went to Wizards to get even less minutes than he was getting here.. I don’t think he’s gonna get the chance he was seeking when he chose the Wizards

 

Been thinking the same thing.

I get his frustration, but I think career wise it wouldve been better for him to buckle down, do the work and try to carve out a role here in a winning situation vs going to a losing team and still having to compete for minutes with a bunch of other young guys on a losing team.

 

Cam Whitmore will regret this trade, I have no doubt about it.

He got -27 despite his ok efficiency. It means he wasnt doing stuff when he didnt have the ball. So him not touching the ball actually proves the point he is a good scorer but a bad basketball player. If its all his teammates fault how come he had among the highest negative? lol

 

If he jad that kind of maturity he wouldnt be in the doghouse in the first place. Look at Jabari and Tari, those 2 could have been easily displace but Ime finds time for them in the rotation.

 

I saw KJ and Kenyon the other day at Joeys in La. Said what’s up to them and miss the rockets days. Kenyon didn’t say anything. Kj was like appreciate ya, got love for Htown.

 

Cam is just worse Jalen Green. Bro just cant basketball.
