    It's comical that he and you/your/his people actually thought he would ever win it.

    Grievence politics is Trump's brand. Losing and whining about it might be better for him politically than actually winning.

    Im not sure if its just natural instincts, or whether it is an intentional well thought out scheme, but whining about his grievences really seems to resonate with the people who love him, presumably because of all their disapointments that they'd like to blame on minorities or liberal elites, too.

    I've never read the wiki article "grievence politics (I believe also called the Politics of Resentment)", but I've also never thought I needed to.
