If you're talking LBs...this guy is really fun to watch:

Kiper: How about Cincinnati linebacker Jake Golday? He had 12 tackles, his third sack of the season, a forced fumble and a pass deflection on Saturday against Iowa State. He was all over the field. Through five games, Golday has 48 tackles. Turn on the tape, and you see a rugged tackler with sideline-to-sideline speed. As a former defensive end, his pass rush skills show up often, too. Since coming over from Central Arkansas before the 2024 season, Golday has made a big impact on the Bearcats' defense. And Cincinnati uses him all over -- in the slot, off the ball, wherever. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder has the traits, talent and work ethic to be a big contributor in the pros, and I have him in the Day 2 conversation right now.

Whit Weeks is the only linebacker I want, dude is destroying the SEC. Elite athlete that plays with violence.
Size is what Demeco looks for, even if he is a but undersized

I like him, but to me he seems like a guy that’s a tweener between old school Mike but undersized.

Weeks is a demon on the field

We need a legit tight end that can block. The opposite of Dalton schultz.

Since when? Unless the size you're talking about is "small"

Kid from Mizzou, Norfleet, is one to watch

Yes, I’m saying he fits the size Demeco looks for.
    Sorry, that wasn’t very clear

Demeco needs to embiggen his LBs...or his DTs

But if speed and agility are the same, give me the bigger LB every damn time.

I think LB would be a sneaky smart selection for the Texans. I personally like Allen from UGA, Hill from UT & Styles from Ohio St. As far as TE, if not Sadiq in the first, I like Delp from UGA or Klein from Michigan.

No more mid round TEs. We just cannot make a good selection at that position if we don’t aim high with it.

We need OL, so throwing picks at that position is the clear need, but I know we’ll reach for a project TE in the 3rd or 4th round per usual. Would like to see them take a high upside RB to pair with Marks too to get the ground game younger and with more upside.

    QB: FERNANDO MENDOZA

    1. He has lifted Indiana to a level they've never been before.
    2. Tremendous accuracy, arm strength, and touch on his passes.
    3. Solid, lengthy track record of starting games in college

Points #1 and #3 are some of the best indicators of future pro success. And point #2 is critical as well.

    GOOD DAY

He graduated with a finance degree from the Berkeley Haas Business School in 3 yrs. So he can at the very least read and memorize a playbook.

I’m down with Hill. That would be awesome! Can you imagine drop-in-tracks instead of shoulder massages? I’m looking at you To.

I think we go with Center, Guard or IDL.

If a Center is worthy of the first round take him cuz the success rate in 1st on Centers is super high. Might be the highest of any position iirc. Andrews is nice but dude gets hurt easily and Patterson is a nice back up but not a long term solution.

Tyler Warren is a bad, bad man.

A good TE would change this offense

Texans have 4 top 100 picks. Those are the guys I'd be hoping to get meaningful snaps as rookies. If it were up to me I'd be choosing OL (either LG or RT), 2 DTs(NT & 3T), & a LB. They have 2 picks shortly after 100 that I'd be looking at RB & TE.
