ı think this part is important because There are Rockets fans who don't like Alperen, but alperen not the reason. Their problem is that their favorite players, KPJ or JG, are relatively unsuccessful, and of course, they didn't anticipate Alperen reaching this level. Perhaps even Alperen didn't, but that's a separate issue.
To be fair, the dude who invented the Literal Scola is no JG stan. But yeah, he's a KPJ stan alright. Oh, and he's infatuated with Davison. I'm worried.
Most impressive on the re-watch of those passing clips -- I think I counted 10 of the 13 that were either uncontested catch and shoot 3s, or clean layups/dunks. There were only a couple of cheap ones in there.
There were a few of us in the beginning of this massive thread stating that Alpi was nowhere near his peak and his peak could be off the charts. He may very well be near the top MVP discussions for this coming season and he is still a couple of years away from reaching his peak that usually starts around 25-26. Alpi is going to get better. Watch out league!
With this level of gravity, he is top 10-15 player in this league. He is a walking asist machine. There are point guards in NBA history that call themselves star averaging 3-4 asists.. Even in preseason, it is not frequent for a center make 13 asists.. He is so good, he is terrifying good, after Eurobasket,he rose to super star tier... It wont surprise me if he breaks tripple.double records as a center in NBA History and will be in MVP discussions...
Him targeting a random g league guy instead of a relevant rockets player is a good thing……let him take down davison that’s fine
Nice to see more people coming to their senses. Some knew in his first pre-season before he played an actual NBA game.
