Click isn’t the GM… he isn’t even the assistant GM…. Myles Straw is on the Blue Jays… maybe start a thread on him? I’m happy the Blue Jays finally are making noise in the playoffs. I hope they finish off the Yankees…. Still has nothing to do with Crane and very little to do with Click.

He's a scorned dummy fan. He doesn't care about the Astros. Ignore him

Thanks Crane for all the success. We were a Dusty power trip away from 3 of these.

And, an AJ Hinch brain fart from another.

We've got a lot to be grateful for. Big Jim has done us proud.
That said, the post Luhnow erastarted long ago, and we rode it far. So, lets not act like Crane hasn't been making mistakes for awhile. The decision last year, not to rebuild..was consistent with this. The pseudo contender sham plows forward. No way that staff was going to be healthy... Burned out arms due to high spin rates...not sustainable.

There should have been a few more titles in the 9 year run. But that’s all water under the bridge. We as fans are super happy that the team won at least 2 and got to the World Series a whopping 4 times in that span.

It’s baseball and any one of us know that the most talent doesn’t always win the games. Nevertheless it has been a stupendous run. Which hopefully the Astros can continue a few more seasons - but the face of the era, Altuve is 36. Can someone else take that mantle of verifiable tone setter of a dynasty; easier said than done.

The 2019 Astros team was a machine that came up oh so short! Perhaps the best team of the dynasty, but it just wasn’t in the cards for them. A game 7 World Series loss was gut wrenching, but alas it is baseball’s allure.

'17, '19, '22, and '23 should have had 4 titles to really stamp the excellence of this Golden Era in the annals of baseball history. Right now, we're probably behind the Giants team that won 3 over 5 years and tied with the current Dodgers team in terms of legacy.

Your transparently empty, pathetic, and sad existence really bums me out.

You’re obviously lacking something in life (likely quite a lot) and that causes you to seek out some kind of perverse affirmation here.

Sad deal. Hope it turns around for you.

It is crazy how the 2019 team didn’t win. Pound for pound I’d say that’s the best team of all time. Yes I said that.

Baseball just has massive variance. A 110 win baseball team is the equivalent of a 55-56 win nba team, the rockets could do that this year despite being irrelevant as far as title contention.
