A San Jose man was killed when he was sucked into a wood chipper during a landscaping job, police said.

Officer Gina Tepoorten said Miguel Marquez, 19, was working just outside of Novellus Systems around 11 a.m. when some debris got caught in the wood chipper's chute.

Attempting to clear the chute by kicking the wood through, both his feet and legs were pulled into the shredder, Tepoorten said.

I saw a show about this guy in England who was laying concrete and got his running/wind pants stuck in the cement mixer. It pulled him in by the crotch. He survived, but now he has no man parts.

What do you do after something like that? Go be a monk?

Man, I can think of a million other ways I would rather go than via wood chipper.

At what point do you think you actually die when something like that happens? I mean, your brain and heart could still be working with like half your body in there.

Oh, just read the whole article, looks like coworkers were able to pull him out, but his right leg was completely severed. Died on the scene, no doubt from massive blood loss.

Screw that! If I'm part way in, you better just let the rest of me go. I can't imagine the pain dude must have been in. I'd rather it just be done and over with. He probably wouldn't have felt much of anything with the adrenaline and shock of it all kicking in.

See, if you were to describe for me this incident and the one above, I would've guessed 'wood chipper' for this one.

But part of the movie was based on the case of a gang who kidnapped a woman and her child, who then killed them both and disposed of the bodies by using a woodchipper. They were able to identify the remains using DNA analysis from all the chunks in the surrounding field.

Are you joking or just trying to avoid the real SPOILER that is coming now?

The woodchipper part was when that one gangster (the one that looked like former tennis player Thomas Muster put the other one into that thing because he annoyed him.

Fargo was one of the best movies!

Holy hell, B-Bob. Never leave again. Never.

    Platonic.
