Im genuinely thinking Reed is ahead of Amen as being ball handler

 

1st half
Alpi played like an MVP and couldn't have been more dominant. He'll obviously sit out the 2nd half.
Reed definitely looked like he belonged out there and also shot the ball great
Both Jabari and Tari shot, scored and rebounded well but something looked off for both guys. Hopefully it's just rustiness from being the first preseason game.
Amen was clearly off and out of sorts.
Steven Adams and Clint are great double-big compliments to Alpi.
KD literally contributed nothing.
The offense was very clunky without Fred. Hopefully KD's presence will help.
Defense was very poor but not too worried about it.

Ime will have to stagger KD and Sengun minutes. The Rockets didn't look good with Sengun sitting

Man, I’m glad some of yall aren’t GMs. Wanting to waste assets bringing a minor upgrade when Amen and Reed likely have higher ceilings than anyone we could realistically obtain.

 

I think its better to just wait.

I honestly think Reed can be that guy, Ime and organization just needs to put trust in him.

Mid season we can bring in someone and also teams at the deadline will be offloading vets to tank. Just wait.

He did when Fred had the ball. With no Fred things are going to look a lot different.

 

It's the reason I'm against forcing Amen to pretend to be a PG because it takes him away from doing the things he's actually good at.

 

We might miss Dillion defensively especially with DFS out. Im hoping its just preseason and Ime is trying new zones out but we do look sloppy defensively.

 

19/19 from the charity stripe is my favorite part of the game so far
