Lmao what? He just signed a 5 year $100 MILLION contract, for reference nobody else who is just a sports pundit is getting that kind of bread. That was in March of this year, so his run is FAR from ending. I'm not a fan of the guy but making stuff up that's widely disproven is not gonna fly sadly.

 

Westbrook is a dog. Always competes and gives 100% physical effort.

Unfortunately, his 100% mental effort is only about 75% of what's required, especially on offense.

 

Whilst I don't want him for the Rockets, it is crazy that Westbrook can't get a roster spot somewhere with some of the trash that's in the league. He may not be close to MVP level any more but he showed recently he's still got fuel in the tank tbh.

I'm sincerely looking forward to the day when the audience recognizes that the constant hot takes are not sincere and all just theater. I think that would improve the ESPN products a lot, but it's probably that I'm just old and insincerity is in fashion.

 

I would LOVE to get Russ on the cheap! Give him a few minutes to start the game (for the sake of his ego) - and then let him run the 2nd unit... The dude obviously isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer - but he is a dog! I wouldnt want him running our offense all game, but I'd love him in a Mike James type role...

 

I think the guy is an annoying blowhard - but he isn't going anywhere anytime soon imo...

I think it's possible we have too many people just like that in big positions right now.

 

The ESPN product is an outrage machine for clicks. SAS does that very well.

 

I also thought Westbrook just fine tuning and skills just were not that good for a guard his caliber.

Sure, it was good enough to be in this league and to become an All Star but if you compare him to the most skilled players of this league, there is a huge discrepancy.

If you had that kind of intensity but you mostly slip up and your coordination is not well timed, your limbs are too fast of what you are trying to do....then it looks awkward, .....becoming Turnovers.
