Texans acquire RB Joe Mixon via trade

and hell, signing Cam R for $14 million and that guy absolutely sucks..............that was a trash signing. What a waste of money

 

True, but I wouldn't say that Robinson sucks. I would say that he's working his way back from injury. Nobody thought Ersery could become a starting lt immediately so I understand the Robinson signing. He was the best lt on the market.

Had Caserio known Ersery would be this good this quick he wouldn't have signed Cam and used that money along with the Autry, Rankings money to help get a center like Dahlman. 30 mil or more is a lot of wasted money IMHO.

He's hurt until he's healthy

 

Played his last game as a Texan in my opinion. He hasn't posted about the Texans in a LONG time when he was frequently doing so last season. He is still active. I would guess that he is probably healthier than what we are being given. Contract dispute kept under wraps as Texans can void his contract next year at any time as he is upping in age.

I think we have seen the last of Joe Mixon, if he was hurt, he would at least be around the facility.......................it must be something pretty bad, I heard a rumor he had hurt himself in a non football activity, but this is kind of silly at this point, just say he`s not coming back

 

Should have just signed Henry or Barkley.

What happened to the local newspaper - someone should write up what is going on here,.......I do think he is done or we would have heard something but dang.....the lack of news is weird.

They are being a friendly organization and protecting him via contract dispute.

 

Maybe they are negotiating a settlement for this year and will make an announcement when terms are agreed to.

 

Not necessarily. While we remember all of Mixon's good games fondly, we tend to forget about his many not so productive games last year. Here are some total rushing yards from last year's regular season: 25, 46, 22, 23, 26, and 23 yards. And yes he was hurt early, but many of those low totals came in between games of rushing for 100 yards or more.
