There are two posters in here who are miserable right now as their narrative looks like a flaming bag of crap.

CJ Stroud heard me and locked himself in that room spamming his old highlights (Watt mentioned this on the broadcast). Well done. Old CJ was back when he zipped a pass to Dalton between two defenders early in the 1st.

This stuff was all over his tape the first few weeks. He had incompetence from play calling, probably a lack of confidence with the new system, and poor playmaking execution which made it much worse than what it actually was.

Guy is a stud. He just needs competence around him.

    Right.
This week was much better tape than the first couple games and 3 quarters of the Titans game.
Hope his confidence is high and keeps building

Even before Ravens game, CJ had a very sneaky career high completion percentage 67.5%. Above league average for once, instead of below it. All the other rate stats look similar to last season honestly, but that's showing that there's at SOME improvement in new scheme.

A lot was made about CJ rookie season having very few INT's. But I don't think "safe secure ball control" is truly his style. He needs time in pocket to let deeper plays develop to put pressure on the D, then spread it around accurately. CJ developing into a quicker thrower is maybe a little tougher adjustment to make. But that seems to be coming around

I think his willingness to throw the check down these last 2 weeks has unlocked this offense. It boosts his completions, makes for shorter down to go distance, and protects against a poor OLine. He’s killing it.

He seems to be getting better at calling protections.

Caley's play calling looks to be about the same.

I'm hoping these last 2 games aren't a case of facing the worst team in the NFL and the Ravens JV team.

Seattle has a good team and will be desperate for a win.

Should be a good game particularly playing in tthat loud Seahawks stadium. A real test.

Every QB would be successful with plenty of time to sit back and let routes develop.

CJ needs to get rid of the ball quicker and make faster decisions on where to go with the ball when under pressure. He looked to be improving in this regard against the Titans. This week wasn't really a test of him getting rid of the ball quicker IMHO.

The Seattle game is a true test; the Ravens and Titans were bad but the Seahawks are for real, plus its on the road and on Monday Night Football so you get all the hype......................now how will the O Line hold up? If CJ has time he can slice and dice.............I love the scheme of this offense, but it's predicated on everyone doing their job and it gets harder when you have a good D Line, but my only concern is the scheme is good but the quality of a few of the O Line has me concerned. Its great we get to celebrate for 2 weeks, now lets get better each week and go up to Seattle and show what we can do

Stroud deserves all the accolades for these last two games. But consistency is what separates the stars from the Ryan Fitzpatricks. Keep it up CJ!

Sure but CJ is better with reasonable time than your average QB.

I think this is where we aren’t seeing things the same way. Yes, agreed that CJ needs to get better at hitting hot routes when he faces a blitz, he also needs to do a better job of recognizing blitzes and changing protections, part of that is what is Caley doing to help him out, it’s been better the last 2 weeks but need to keep it up.

I still believe in CJ, he’s a very talented QB and I’m rolling with him. Is he made of the right stuff? Idk man. His attitude is weird at times, he sulks more than I would like in my QB, he gets oddly emotional when his teammates get injured. But he’s plenty talented enough and I’m just banking on him eventually figuring out how to consistently beat pressure and adjust protections etc.

Need to see this against good teams.
