He probably was playing hurt last year but didnt want Reed or someone else to look better in his stead. Now that he doesnt have that concern he can sit out a little more comfortably.
Like Chris Broussard, my sauces on that one are multiple, don't remember who said it first, but eventually even Jalen said it in an interview.
There were several reports over the past 20 months or so. Most of them said that the Rockets didn't want to have to add picks or take back bad contracts just to move him and that there was no interest around the league for him. How accurate those reports were is up to you, I'm not personally a source for anything, but we know that they did have to force the Suns to take Jalen after initially saying no... so it would appear they were roughly accurate.
Never heard them. I know the Suns were initially worried about his fit next to Booker (due to them both being scoring 2 guards) and they looked to flip him for a better fit. No idea what came of those discussion. I think he'll have his best season to date. We'll see.
He might have his highest point scoring total now that he's back on a 20 win team in a tank commander role. I'm still VERY happy he's gone.
There is a difference, I disliked him as a Rocket but I passively cross my fingers when he does not play the Rockets. He is just another kid in my eyes.
I'm just not interested one way or the other, he's already a certified draft bust and he's not a Rocket anymore so it doesn't really matter what he does.
