That's nice to see, but I hesitate to get too excited about non-game shooting. I once saw Dwight Howard sink 32 straight free throws in a pre-game shootaround. His form was smooth as silk. Big man coach Roy Rogers told me he always shot them really well in practice. But in actual games for us, he hit them just over half his FTs. Here's hoping Reed gives us those 3s in game situations.
He hit 52% from 3 in college on high volume. Towards the end of the season Reed was above 40% as well. He'll be fine.
If Reed shoots like that in games his nickname has got to be Cheat Code. Like in the old days of NBA2K when you could just have Brent Prince jack 3s from half-court all game long.
Reeds release towards the end of the year was much faster and had more confidence. I feel like he can be a career 38+% 3 point shooter easily. We seen less of reed than anyone else but this year obviously we will get a better look. He might not be an amazing player but I think he can be at least playable.
