When you look at a map of where people are looking up trans p*rn its the south. A lot of the hatred for trans people is psychological projection.

On the issue of taxes:

The fact is, we do tax the rich at a much higher rate on their income as compared to everyone else.

The difference is what is considered income and what isn't.

Wealthy people tend to put their assets into LLC's and other similar business structures, paying themselves a salary which might not be much at all while charging the expenses to the company which then writes it off its taxes, and much of that can be actual living expenses.

Say you own a car wash inside your LLC that brings in $10k a month on average.

Between the mortgage, taxes and utilities, that business only clears $4000.
You buy a vehicle in the name of the LLC, now it's a company vehicle - the monthly note and insurance are expenses which further reduce the tax burden. Say that note and insurance payment total $1000.
Now the business is clearing only $3k per month.
Business lunch / dinner with vendors is another expense that's commonly used as a write off. That could be another $1k a month and easily more. I know a guy who drops $6,000 on a bottle of wine at these kind of dinners ....

The LLC pays the employee's health care, call it $500 a month.

Finally, the LLC pays it's owner / employee(s) a salary of a measly $1000 a month putting the owner in the lowest tax bracket but he's avoided paying taxes on the money used to pay his car note & insurance as well as his medical insurance and much of his food bill that went untaxed.

The LLC is paying tax on a whopping $500 a month in profits.

The owner is paying actual income tax on the lowest rate as some of his major expenses are written off as expenses. While his salary is mostly disposable income.

The average individual isn't getting those tax write offs .... It's just not possible when you are working an hourly or salary job "for someone else."

Imagine if you could keep your current income but have your employer pay for your food, gas insurance and transportation costs - how much better off would you be?

If they are biological males, they have no business in Women's sports

Unless they are fully transitioned, they have no business in the women's bathroom.

5 live and let live - for the most part, I believe we do just that. No one really cares what anyone else is doing as long as it doesn't harm someone else.


Where is the middle? Man, I just don't know because we seem to have moved to the fringes.

 

We are human with a high capacity towards free will. To translate this into simpler terms, humans have a higher tendency towards randomness (free will) thus human actions/thoughts will always collide. W/out this capability, we would be nothing more than many other species - organism who are genetically programmed to do the same thing, generation over generation. So the next time anyone feels the need to criticize another human in fascist form for disagreeing with them, its our free will that allows humans to adapt and grow to our environment.

1) what do you consider rich/wealthy? For the sake of argument, lets put this number <10 million. At this point, these individuals are storing their wealth in multiple forms of assets. Much of their 'wealth' is highly subjective, thus it can not be taxed in a meaningful way. Low income people struggle with this concept because they have never experienced it and dismiss it as 'loopholes'.

The reality is that most of this ultra wealth is leveraged. The incredibly stupid liberal idea of taxing unrealized gains would destroy the economy - These ultra wealthy people would have to deleverage their equities which would create a massive economic crash - its not a simple task of opening their robinhood acct and clicking the sell button.

TLDR; Wealthy people do not store their money in large vaults, Scrooge McDuck style. Its incredibly ignorant to view wealthy people this way.

Also, I have a strong distain for wealthy people who do not produce, people such as Warren Buffet, Charlie Monger and the Soras family...there are many others.
Bezos, Zuckerberg, Musk, Ellison and Arnault all add to the economy in a meaningful way, although I disagree with some.
Buffet, Monger and Soras are all grifting shitbags.

2) Most people don't hate trans. They are just tired of hearing about them and tired of this trans mental illness being pushed into the mainstream. Using chemicals (drugs) to force a body into a different state is incredibly stupid and anyone who thinks its acceptable is just as incredibly stupid. They obviously do not know anything about biology. And chemically inducing children is down right evil.

 

1. What is the reason not to tax the rich at the same level as the middle class? It's the loopholes and hiding the $$ in shell companies or offshore accounts that cannot be detected

I dont hate trans folks, hell I don't hate any "group", but I do believe if your born one way, you cant play sports for the other side, its just not fair. They should have the same rights as anyone, no more and no less......its less then 1% of the country, they are always used as a Political football which is disgusting

4. Why do we sometimes cater to an extreme minority? This is getting worse and worse every 4 years, one side goes extreme and then they vote in the new group and they say, "hold my beer". I will say this time is different, maga is so far right there will be some things we can't fix with an EO, we are losing valuable time cutting research for Cancer and Infectious diseases.............some things should be bipartisan when it comes to what helps the American People.......those folks who put you in there. We have a sitting Prez taking bribes in broad daylight and selling Merch who hasnt really done anything to help the middle class...........SMH

5. Why can't we just live and let live? These large Corporations who are gobbling everything up (controlling media/social media) and the hackers in China and Russia want us divided, there is so much misinformation out there that is set up to make us hate each other. The truth is I have maga in my family and they don't act like some folks on this board or the likes I see on fox, there good people who would do anything for me and I would give them my last dollar if they asked for it, now were smart enough to not "talk" about politics. When they see me, they don't think of me as a "Radical Left Fascist", I`m a son, brother and THE BEST UNCLE ever LOL ..............and the cherry on top is we have a Prez who says he doesn't care about his opponent and flames the fire DAILY and then you have fox amplifying it to the masses

The truth is we are MUCH closer to the things we want and need and how we want our society to act, IMO social media has broken us down into 2 camps and they feed us what makes us feel good and what makes the "other side" look like idiots. Can we just go back to funny cat memes

Wealthy people do not need to park money into high risk offshore accounts when they can simply park it in the good ol USA jurisdiction with the most security the world can offer. And what wealthy idiot would keep their wealth stored in fiat?

All they need to do is buy UST, SPY500, BTC, Real Estate ect and live off dividends or just leverage the asset for cash. These are not loopholes. This is just how the economy works.

This is why you're broke. In fairness, our education system intentionally does not teach students sound economics.
