    Gemini summary

This video features interviews with voters in a Republican Wisconsin district who attended a Bernie Sanders rally, explaining why they support him. Key reasons include:

    • Concerns about the country's direction [00:05]: Voters express worry about freedom of speech and the risk of losing democracy.

    • Healthcare as a right [00:11]: Many, including healthcare providers, believe healthcare should be a right and are concerned about people losing access.

    • Economic inequality [00:31]: There's a sentiment that "too much is at the top" and it's time for change.

    • Social issues [00:39]: Voters oppose using the National Guard to invade cities and feel the country has lost empathy for hardworking middle-class people and public educators.

    • Housing crisis [00:51]: The housing crisis has significantly impacted people in the area, with some experiencing eviction.

    • Bernie's authenticity [01:04]: Supporters appreciate that he fights for the "common man" and is honest.

    • Belief in his ideas [01:10]: Despite being labeled "radical" by national Republicans, the video suggests these ideas are what "the American people believe."

But what gets me is the fact that they all knew what they were voting for and now claim that it's not .

    "Conservatives" lie.

They don't have to have morals, integrity or ethics. They can do whatever then ask Jesus for auto-forgiveness.

Dems running on preventing dictatorship is hilarious.

Republicans running on kick everyone out that isn't a citizen, is equally funny to me.

These Red Vermont Towns Wanted ‘America First.’ They’re Getting More Than They Bargained For.

ChatGPT TL;DR of the Politico article ideas + related reporting:
    • Border towns between Vermont and Quebec are feeling the strain. Communities historically intertwined across the border are seeing increasing tension and economic disruption due to new U.S. policies and rhetoric.
    • Haskell Free Library & Opera House is a flashpoint. This building literally straddles the border, and for decades Canadians could enter from the U.S. side via a sidewalk path without formal checks. New rules from the Trump administration are ending that informal access.
    • New restrictions will force costly changes. The library must build a new entrance on the Canadian side (costing six figures) because Canadians will no longer be able to enter via the U.S. side without passing through checkpoints.
    • Decline in cross-border activity. Border crossings are down sharply (as much as ~48% in some places), hurting local businesses that depend on Canadian visitors for fuel, dining, tourism, etc.
    • Trade and tariff fallout. Trump’s imposition of 25% tariffs on Canadian imports and repeated talk about annexation of Canada have inflamed distrust and economic pushback.
    • Communities pushing back. Despite deep frustration, residents on both sides are trying to preserve their bonds. Local leaders in the U.S. side express regret over national policy, and some Canadian residents are boycotting U.S. travel until things change.

Gutting federal workers around the US, cutting healthcare and research funding, and giving 20 billion to his right wing buddy. Meanwhile there are American veterans and civilians dying because they can't afford life saving treatment, but hey, bail out your buddy's economy and make more cuts, fire more workers, and manhandle, arrest, and move the homeless Americans out of your sight.

It's not "giving $20 billion to Argentina." It's backstopping a line of credit to support their currency. There's a good chance that no money is given to Argentina. So much disinformation in this thread from people who don't understand global finance. Sad!

As a reminder Biden "gave" $200 billion to Ukraine and what did that do for us? Zilch.

    GOOD DAY

Greatly weakened our advisories. Downgraded Russia’s capabilities without losing a single life. The amount of intelligence gathering alone on the battlefield is a great benefit to the military

I wonder if this is a "fringe" voter, one that doesn't normally vote and she bought into the "I`ll do everything in one day" BS tramp peddled and it sounded good so she bought the bait, hook line and sinker. She doesn't fit the typical maga look and looks more like a liberal but who knows.........feel sorry for her kid and anyone who is a fringe voter who just wanted lower grocery prices. tramp is a lying POS
