    I don't think he'll be back. That said, if he was 100% healthy and the Rockets were either the No. 1 or No. 2 seed, I would want him to play. I think the Rockets may not need him to start, but I doubt they would be so stacked that they wouldn't be able to use him off the bench.

    No point in him reinjuring himself in 6 months. At this point, just take the whole year, we still have to pay him for another year.

    If we are top 2 seed and Fred is 100% healthy by the beginning of the playoffs, I'll be torn whether we should bring him off the bench. On one hand, I see @clos4life's point about risk of reinjuring. On the other hand, adding him to the depth may mean the difference between winning and losing a tightly contested series.

    FVV *cannot* be traded WITHOUT HIS CONSENT at any time this season. Not until he officially picks up his player option for 2026-27.

    Also, even with FVV's consent, he cannot be traded until December 15 due to signing as a free agent this summer.
