    People have been going crazy recently.

    I feel sorry for the victims of all these shootings and their friends and family. But, as a political matter I don't even care anymore. We obviously won't do anything about it, no matter how horrific it gets. So I don't even read the news stories anymore. It's akin to a big car pileup on the interstate -- an unfortunate event you regret, you hope to personally avoid, but one you concede is inevitable in this modern society.
