    ....is turnovers

    has to cut them down

we likely are not going to have a high scoring half court offense
should be a grindfest taking our time letting alpi work down low and wear down defenders and create grat plays

    gotta cut the turnovers

    his biggest turn

even bigger than his 3 point percentage since fvv is gone

FG% is way more important. All the missed bunnies need to go away. They are just as bad as turnovers and last year happened way more frequently. It is a must that Sengun gets his touch back in the lane.

Missing 1 of 2 at the line is a partial turnover.

    Agreed.

Everyone agrees that Green was just too inefficient but last year Green's and Sengun's TS% was almost identical in both the regular season and playoffs. If he's one of the three least efficient starting centers in the league again this year, then it doesn't bode well for us.

I agree with the earlier sentiment, FG% is way more important to me than turnovers. If Alpi's going to be a superstar he can't be the center version of Jalen.

He has a 2 to 1 turnover ratio already. That's a great number for a center, even good for average starting point guards. Never been a problem.

he needs to shoot at least 75% from the line and 35% from the arc. it’s all mental with him just needs to grow a pair and try to dunk everything at the rim too. no more hesitating on 3’s like a eunach

I was hoping for 78-80% from the line and 34% on 3ish attempts from 3

he really needs to launch those 3’s with confidence to open up the paint for our slashers & rim runners. main thing is drawing the defenders out even if he’s a 33% decoy

You’re PROBABLY right about the half court offense. But it isn’t out of the question that, even with FVV out, a dose of Sengun and kickout 3s to KD, Reed and Jabari, plus Amen’s attacking and crashing COULD, theoretically, produce a decently high scoring offense. And can’t forget KD is a triple threat and deadly efficient. If Reed can attack effectively just a little, and Amen hit 33% plus from 3, I can see it happening.

yes, that’s the rosy, optimistic outlook. But it doesn’t seem out of the question. I’ll keep this cautious optimism at least until October 6.

Can't imagine anything that would dramatically increase his full game impact more than a 3pt shot. The people who guard him well inside now have to take him seriously at the 3PT line. You can now take the opponent's rim protector out of the paint when Amen is going downhill.
