Alex Cintron has to be axed the day after the season ends. I'm sorry, but the overall philosophy and approach in situational ABs has been absolute dogshit for the better part of 3 years now. I'm sure the players themselves probably bear 90% of the blame on the total lack of consistency, but it's clear that whatever message is being delivered is either not being listened to, or it is being listened to and it's horrendous. Not a good look either way.
1.6 runs per game in the last 5. If you don't count the one swing by Pena, it's 0.8 runs per game. You can't make this **** up.
Well, it's on to the Rockets.I sure hope we have enough sense to address the PG issue we have. I don't believe we can stand pat with what we have. The money isn't there but, we have to do something IMO. Thoughts ?
Well you better buckle up because they’re hard capped so an exception does them no good. They need to shed salary first and that can’t happen until December. Pretty much as is I would think unless they can get real creative but even that doesn’t get you anyone of any stature.
I understand the dilemma....I just don't think we can stand pat and be where we need to be.....might have to get creative. But, as you say, who of stature would we be able to get. I REALLY wish we have had a PLAN B on FVV. I understand injuries happen but we may be left holding the bag.
So glad I’m not staying up to watch this sh*t show of a team that has given up. This is not the Astros of the last few years.
Atleast we are not the biggest collapse of the season that appears to be Detroit but the signs are there that we need changes in the way we approach our at bats and changes in the organization\coaching staff need to be made
