CJ has not been good, but you have to at least give him a chance..................IMO this hire is a retread of the last OC, I don't see a big difference, it is a horrible situation. In hindsight I wish Demeco would have hired an experienced OC and fixed the O Line, the 5 play as one BS isn't working. There is plenty of blame to go around but it starts with Nick the word salad guru................and dam it Cap, stop saying, "were close", it's insulting to those of us who pay attention to what we see on Sunday`s

He had a chance, if we have a competent QB, we win yesterday, instead we have CJ who STILL can't read defenses.

Texans need to be on Daboll or Mike McDaniels watch....since Caserio is in love with the Patriots playbook, they brought in Josh McDaniels right before the playoffs started in 2011, so I don't want to hear that they can't make a change mid-season.

Looked like Demeco was yelling at the ref.

The drop in motions is disappointing. Chart does not include using tempo and hardcounts. The hard count would probably add another 4 offensive flags to our league leading category.
But still, these are all things that help out offensive lines a little. And they need all the help they can get.

Exactly what I have been saying... you know they are sending everyone.. So why call plays where the routes take such a long time to develop... now im not taking any blame away from the OL or CJ, but everyone has to get better... Again, if CJ is allowed to audible and he's the one calling an audible for these plays, then someone needs to sit him down and teach him.

Normally, I'd be cautioning patience but its really unwatchable at this point. 12.67 ppg scored, 17 ppg allowed.

Yeah; other than Stroud and Nico, I’m pretty sure I would trade every single offensive player on the Texans for their Colts’ counterpart. Their RB and TE are elite; their WRs are good; the line is good. And Daniel Jones isn't a bad QB.

Steichen has much more talent to work with than Caley.

Not sure why any of this matters - people complained about the horrendous offense last year and now want to be more like it? There are lots of great offenses like the Eagles, Bengals and Bills at the bottom of these lists, each with totally different styles and QBs. So it's not like there's only one way to be successful.

The offense is even worse than last year though

It is complex situation. One person is not the problem. Many people are the problem. But Caley is one of them.

Sure; but the problem isn't less playaction, especially when - again, great job, Nick! - they have a older, slower running back who doesn't scare a defense.
