I'm here to announce the founding of a new group here in Austin, the Austin Rocketball Association. We have two members so far, Rocketman95 and shanna (Kagy, I still want you to be a member, as does shanna ) Freak has informed me that Showplace Lanes no longer has DirectTV. That means we have four months to find the Austin Rocketball Association's HQ. I propose we meet no less than once a month, possibly once every two weeks or so, or any big game (aren't they all though). I'd prefer somewhere Central, since it looks like we have a good scattering of North and South folks. My first nomination: Mr. Gattis on MLK. Cheap beer, all you can eat pizza, can't go wrong. I'll be in when the time comes. Gatti's sounds like a great idea (when did they get a dish?), but it's kinda far from where I live (is that your idea of "central", R95? LOL). If that ends up being the place, it might be hard for me to make it every night, but I'll definitely be there some of the time. I'm up for it. Sounds like fun. Even though I agree with Freak-- that ain't exactly central based on where I live (the Marquis, at the corner or Metric and Lamplight Village, off Parmer...) I gotta admit that's probably as close to Central as we're gonna get. Wm Cannon and MOPAC?
