I’d bet against him being fired or getting manager of the year (even if the Astros win the division).

It will always be Dusty's fault the Astros lost to the Rangers in 2023. Something that Ranger fans will always get to shove in Astros fans faces (thanks for that Dusty, as he said Astros fans would be thanking him). Getting swept at home while knowingly not playing his best lineup led the team down a path of moving on from Dusty and promoting Espada.

Not PR for Paredes in the 9th was a fun decision.

Of course the Stros bats made sure he was in no danger of overexertion on the bases

Why hasn't he been using these prognosticative powers all season?

Think of the pitching changes, etc...

Jesus Sanchez is playing again. Why, Joe, why?

    RHP.

The better question is: Why is Cam playing?

Read this as "Jesus! ...Sanchez is playing again?"

Yet the Astros have had their worst seasons in recent history once Dusty left. Lmao

Dusty really is the GOAT Astros manager though. Made a WS without Verlander and kept Frambers jeckyl and Hyde act in check to win a chip

This team has shown NO FIGHT under Espada. This is where a Dusty Baker would make a diference, especially with an injured team.

I do think Dusty was a better motivator if nothing else.
