Finished seasons 1-5. Here's how I would rank them: 3 - Hands down the best villain I've ever seen in Vargas, truly vile and evil with hidden depth and motives that they didn't shove down your throat. Bringing Mr. Wrench back was fantastic. And Ramona from Scott Pilgrim was the icing on the cake. 1 - Billy Bob Thornton was the ultimate badass, and I loved how, when you thought it was done, it just jumps forward and keeps on going. 2 - Not as good as people hyped it up to be (IMO because it was set in '79 so lots of nostalgia) but still fantastic. Kirsten Dunst played a great turn as Peggy but Dodd Gerhardt was underutilized as the main foil. 4 - Started off really, really good, Gaetano (the psycho Italian brother) was phenomenal, Oraetta (poisoner) was a great character, thought it might be the top of this list, but Timothy Olyphant's character was a little underutilized, it turned into a slog of a mob war movie and I really didn't like how it ended. 5 - Another good start that sort of fizzled out and drug on as the season progressed. The whole gun-running thing was an afterthought for the criminal element. FBI agents were lame and I didn't like that they killed off the state trooper for reasons in the last episode. I guess what sent it off the rails was the whole dream sequence of the magical camp for domestic violence survivors. Not that it's not an important topic but very off tonally for this show. Dot was a badass and her home alone boobytrap antics were fun. The whole side-plot with the immortal guy was strange, but I liked it.
