    Wow!! I have no words.

Three law enforcement officers were killed and two others were wounded in a shooting in Pennsylvania on Wednesday afternoon, and the shooter is also dead, the state police commissioner said.

Police were apparently serving a warrant in York County when they were fired upon, three sources familiar with the matter told NBC News.

"There are simply no words I can offer to assuage the grief that this community has experienced," Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Col. Christopher Paris said.

The two surviving officers were in critical but stable condition at a hospital, he said.

OMG - it is unreal - so much death, Minny lawmakers, Kids in school, officers, Charlie Kirk - gun death after gun death after gun death.

And help is just a vote for reasonable gun controls and licensing away - ridiculous that this is happening.

Seems like we are all numb now, if the GOP won't allow controls this is just gonna keep on happening - people are mad - they are armed - this country is in the crapper.

Politicians no longer represent people they line their own pockets - we are either at the end of this countries life as a democracy, or it will cause the pendulum to swing so far left it will be a new beginning.......but until anything like that could happen - lots of people will more than likely die while we wait.....Angry people with guns is a bad recipe for people just trying to live happily.

It's always so much safer and easier to surveil the people and arrest them once they're outside the house, instead of sending in the SWAT crew.

It also prevents things like no-knock raids gone wrong.

This whole thread is a head-scratcher. Not that it isn’t tragic or newsworthy but usually posts here are more meta, like ‘another day another mass shooting’. Sadly, one incident with regular people usually doesn’t rise to the need to be posted.

Also answers the question in the tweet above. It’s just not shocking enough to cover when there are broader news items dealing with the destruction of the democracy.

It was a “we interrupt your news for this breaking news” during NBC Nightly News. I figured it would be a bigger story than it was.
