He's the reason we are out of there in the first place. Biden could have changed course though so he's at fault also.

Uhhh why not? Not a single terrorist attack has come from Afghanistan. Why would we need to recommit to another forever war? I thought you were anti war and pro less wars?

If only we'd waited them out for 21 years instead of 20!

It is like Trump's Big Brain has forgotten that we just got out of Afghanistan.

    Just like.

I am you’re not wrong, I have a lot of coworkers/friends that are afghani…most of their family members have been tortured by the taliban and are dead at this point. The rights for women have been severely rolled back. The country is a mess and millions are expected to starve

the war was a mistake for 20 years, but it’s kind of one of those things where they damaged the region so much I think an argument can be made to bring troops. That being said….

I thought about it some more anfter my post and one thing I didn’t consider was the utter betrayal of the afghanis (mostly by Trump) and the fact that anybody that helped the US was brutally murdered.

I don’t think anybody will help us this time around and for that reason I’m more neutral now. Nobody trusts us and we can’t blame them

Your friends are a very small minority of whats happening. My mom's side is Pakistani and I know alot of Afghan refugees that were living in PK and are back in Afghanistan and are happier than ever before. There's tons of vlogs from big YouTubers that have gone to Afghanistan and the overwhelming majority of locals are thrilled. You forget when we had troops there we had suicide bombings every other day in Afghanistan. People are tired of living in fear.

Its not our duty to bring women's rights in Afghanistan. Women have no rights in Saudi Arabia yet we sell them billions in arms. Baby's are being bombed in gaza from us dollars. Who are we to be the moral police.

You will never kick out the Taliban from Afghanistan. Get real man

It feels like the GOP decided they need a war to distract from other wars, conflicts, and domestic issues.

The goal is to grow the military. It’s not subtle. We have a Department of War.
