Leftist groupthink and inability to contextualize is why former democrats are leaving

When I debate conservative friends in real life I destroy their positions, because most conservatives are quite naive.

 

Another way of looking at this is facts are a narrow concept. They are narrow because there is a near universal consensus. Like it’s probably not a virtue that you are someone that can be easily convinced that the earth is flat.

What this article is doing is saying that liberals are narrow minded when really they are just saying things like “yes climate change is real and the data proves it”…while not being easily convinced otherwise without compelling evidence to contradict and stating that fact and other facts are narrowly defined somehow means liberals aren’t open minded about other things which is nonsense.

Just look at the diet of liberals that right wingers make fun of because blue haired libs are willing to try kale smoothies.

Look at the music of weirdo liberals from big cities. Please tell me who has more open minded taste… liberals from Brooklyn starting a new indie band or the next maga country singer from the suburbs of Nashville??

So yeah this article is flawed beyond belief. Political positions that are based on facts…. Can be debated of course but they should be fairly narrow minded. It doesn’t mean that you aren’t open minded when it comes to things that are not science or fact based discussions.
