Pat will be back in the league this year. He has had some talks with Detroit, Phoenix, BK and the Bucks. I love the guy because he was awesome as a Rocket, and if nothing else, his podcast is doing well. I'd love to see him add some toughness and leadership to a young team, similarly to a Udonis Haslem role. While I recognize people view his personality as problematic, every team he's played for appreciated his work ethic and dedication. Speaking of former Rockets, can we rewind time and get Ron Ron or my guy Trevor Ariza for some insurance? I guess Ime didn't get his way with Malcolm, so I hope we make room for DMel.
Ime is a fan. I said this a long time ago, but Gary Trent Jr. Was about to be a rocket until he believed the overrated Greek freak had a future there. Eventually there will be room to sign depth, but at a consequence of Tari, who believes he is the same value as any of the starting 5. Tick tock
Terrible idea. We have Okogie who is a better defensive guard who is younger without all the shenanigans.
Pat Beverly has always been overrated, but at least was a decent player. He should now be playing in China. Holiday, the journeyman, is way better than the latest version of Pat Beverly. If Reed looks bad in pre-season, Tari and/or Reed may very well be on the trade block. They have a short window with Durant so if the losses mount early on (I don’t think they will) they’ll be shopping.
