It's not about hating the team, but rather being frustrated by a consistent pattern of poor decision making and a lack of responsibility from the key leadership figures ,the GM, the Coach, and the Quarterback. I had high expectation this year, as we all did. I am also a realist and understand that this team with this QB are trash.
We probably would’ve won the game if he made that throw and couple other wide open receivers he missed? He’s scared to throw the ball down the field, he’s so focused on checking it down to RBs
Below average QB who has regressed severely. Give him the season to turn it around, if it’s more games like these last two trade him to Cleveland for 3 FRPs.
I’m not turning on him, yet. He’s shown that he can be a great pocket passer. But, he has to get back to it. He’s been pretty bad for the last 14-15 games
I think reverse negative Grace Jones stole his mojo during the friendly ride after that charity event.
I suppose it's possible Nico wasn't the primary target here and CJ's eyes were elsewhere - I don't like diagnosing plays from my couch (or the top of NRG Stadium). Having said that... CJ not hitting this easy, walk-in touchdown is certainly concerning. The pocket is good; there's room to step up and he just........ freezes. Nico isn't just open, he's open for almost the entire duration of the play. Again, maybe he wasn't his first read and Stroud just didn't see him. But it does look like a QB who has heard too many footsteps. 2023 Stroud zips thispass and scores.
