Of course it doesn’t. However the fact that so many Americans - across the political spectrum support the murderer or are ambivalent to a health insurance CEO being gunned down in the middle of the street- is indicative of major dissatisfaction bubbling just below the crust in America… especially in Americans under 50. Let’s ignore that though and point out that health insurance prices didn’t go down - when very few really thought the single murder of a sociopath healthcare CEO would trigger any such outcome.
lol always at least one wearing a medical face mask outside. Luigi is still going upstate for life so this celebration is pretty moronic.
pretty boy like him, folks are going to be surprised when he shaves his head and gets an Aryan Brotherhood tattoo for "protection."
They're not saying he's innocent. They're just saying it's OK to kill someone that you don't agree with.
how would you cap it? say, i invent a product, use my own capitol to bring it to market, hire people to manufacture it, pay them an reasonable wage. the product is a success. I manage/direct the company, and also own the majority of the shares. should my earnings be capped, and if so, at what level?
Their labor..... LOL You are a funny guy. Although I will say this, I don't think Americans are sick of rich folks -- I think they are sick of the ultra wealthy and the concerns of corporations coming before people. It is the same reason that so many people across the political spectrum expressed some degree of sympathy for Mangione and not for the kid that shot Kirk. One was a free speech assassination and the other was the assassination of someone that does the bidding of what is viewed as an evil corporation.
No - they are saying it is okay to kill someone that does the bidding for a corporation that expressly puts profits over the health of people. There has been polling that shows that the support he has cuts across political divide. This particular case hit a nerve with a lot of Americans.
Yes? Rich folks are behind a lot of things, they are at the top of the food chain. United Healthcare is a lot more hated than Turning Point.
Define reasonable. Look at WalMart - If their workers still need public assistance. . .. that is a problem Bezos - If you employee have to pee in cups to stay on time and keep their jobs. . .that is a problem If you employees cannot have Food/Shelter and clothing off what you pay them How About this .. . NO CEO can make more than 100 times the minimu wage of their lowest paid employee All the other stuff that does not mean taking advantage of people. .. .. make your money i don't care (ESP if we can keep money out of Politics) Rocket River
The Problem is a matter of scale and class 1 man steals 5000 from another - we want him in jail for every 1 man swindles 1000s out of millions. . . .we only wanna give him 2~3 yrs Luigi killed one man - death penalty That one man instituted corporate practices that took untold lives and cause general harm to millions more . . and he is an innocent? Rocket River The LAw is not Ethical . Just because you CAN do it doesn't mean you should. . .or it should be allowed
I understand. A lot of Americans, the most is a very long time, believe that the government is a tool for the ultra wealthy and corporations - and it is very hard right now to argue that isn't the case. This is also why I have said those that think what MAGA is doing is good or cute will feel differently when we end up with a leftist populist that keys in on economic policies and divisions as a way to take control of the country. The USA and the will of the people is like a wild dog, you don't know how it is going to react.
I'm still not sure this is a good thing. I hate insurance and the insane billing structure we have here. I don't think it's OK to kill someone because of it.
