you already know astros going to **** the bed against the As you can only hope Cole's shenanigans counter Kurtz's shenanigans.
Can Javier pitch us a gem for 6 innings? I do believe he's got it in him to pull is through and end the Rangers hopes.
Explain exactly what Cole did? I didn't see the play. I did see a replay of the ball in the left field corner, if that's it. Is it just the positioning? I mean isn't that on Joe? He's supposed to make sure everybody is supposed to be where they need to be. I don't see how that's on Cole.
He's got it in him...but, we have to have a plan in place if he doesn't with DeGrom...can't let him go out and give up 4 or 5 runs
Man, he's certainly been impressive outside of maybe his first spot start. I thought the same thing going into G7 of the '23 ALCS....
In a perfect world we sweep the Rangers, Seattle loses 1 of their next 2 and then we sweep Seattle, putting the division out of reach. And then we fight it out with a slumping Detroit team for the bye. Detroit has 5 more with a red hot Cleveland team and 3 with Boston to end the season. They could go into a real tailspin. I could see them going 5-6 to end the season. That's 90-72. We would need to go 4-2 next week to get the bye.
Ok yeah whoever is in charge. Although we've often times seen managers frantically waving at their outfielders to get into a proper position. I would never expect Joe to be that aware of his surroundings however.
JP France is it. I really do think that is our plan to have Javier give us four hopefully five and then France be the bridge to the back end of the bullpen.
I saw a post/tweet somewhere that we have now tied the 2019 NYY for most player trips to the IL by one team ever and that one more and we’ll hold the record, I knew it was more then I had seen any other Astro team have but not that much.
Remaining schedule Javier vs Texas DAY OFF Brown vs Seattle Valdez vs Seattle Alexander vs Seattle DAY OFF Javier at Athletics Brown at Athletics Valdez at Athletics Alexander at Angels Blubaugh at Angels Javier at Angels So Brown, Valdez and Alexander would be perfectly rested for 1st rounds of the playoffs.
So much going on here. Catcher you mean? Here is what Rangers Kelly does with his spare time outside baseball. https://m.imdb.com/name/nm0254402/?ref_=tt_cst_i_5
It's amazing how Seattle can be 0.5 ahead and have a 10% greater chance for postseason, when the Astros were 3 games ahead and only 1% greater. Worst part about Yordan's injury isn't this season, it's the fact it solidifies the fact he can't be trusted to do anything. His last 3 injuries were all stupid -- Sliding, the Immaculate Broken Hand, and basic Stepping. Two of those were entering the postseason. Yordan should viewed as a bonus. Crane needs to add another big bat this offseason. He probably won't and the offense will continue to be mediocre at best. . This season, Paredes and Correa can offset Yordan, but they have to actually do it. We're so injured anyway man, damn.. there's still pitching. Half the staff doing TJS and no Hader. Have mercy on our souls.
If it weren’t the last few weeks, Yordan would be back on the IL and we’d have the record. So close to glory!
Kinda crazy our postseason chances rest heavily with Framber’s next outings to close the season. I’m definitely not feeling confident.
