Agreed - he definitely moves awkwardly, but surprisingly well from what I'd expect from his size. Besides the knee problems, his injuries all seem to be weird/fluky rather than related to his size. Correa is another one who had a lot of freak injuries when he was younger but seems to be holding up reasonably well as he ages.
Sure - I'm not opposed to it, but it just doesn't seem like a priority to fix a one-in-a-million issue. If we're trying to fix injuries, first thing I'd do is pad the outfield walls and things like that instead of having people jump into a fence or a scoreboard. People routinely get injured with that and yet no one fixes it for whatever reason.
Cleveland only 2 games back in the loss column. They own the tiebreaker against us. So we need to focus on them cooling off.
Yordan is still trying to steal bases this year back in rehab and when he was called back up. I am okay with SBs not being part of his game...
Trae Turner, Bo Bichette and now Yordan Alvarez all in jeopardy of missing the playoffs. Kyle Tucker, who knows if he stays healthy after he returns next week. Big blow to major league baseball.
That was a pretty crappy answer from Joe. He is feeling some pressure. I think there is a legitimate chance that Dana replaces him if they miss the playoffs and he knows it.
Probably frustrated and doesn’t have an exact timeline or even a good enough idea to give a better answer than the one he already gave.
