    Tiebreaker over neither. If we sweep the Rangers, we would then be only worried about the Guardians. They got the Tigers twice home and away, not sure how Hinch is gonna approach these last 2 weeks but he can't let the bye slip away (3 games up on Seattle).

    Cleveland does play Texas to end the season, so if we split these next 2 with Texas, we may be needing a split of that series to fall in an exact manner, like Seattle and Texas back in 2023 to end the season. Wouldn't that be something?

    That is correct, thus the statement that Texas would officially be in our rear view mirror on the side of the road with 4 flat tires.

    They would not be able to gain 6 games on us in the 9 remaining games. That's what a sweep means. It's everything.

    Cleveland about to play 7 games over the next 6 days.
