    I believe King that he didn't mean urban as code for black. Its more likely he was think of the urban-rural political divide and suggesting that an endorsement by the squad might alienate small town voters. Of course, racial identity is all mixed up in the formulation of the urban-rural divide in the first place. But still, it doesn't look like he was trying to reference race.
