I think you'd pretty much have to be an NBA player to even be able to focus enough to really learn anything. In my youth I was a professional musician, and early in my career I attended a masterclass from a very famous shredding style guitarist called Steve Vai, it it was like 2 different crowds of people together in the same room. There was the very accomplished/technically proficient players who were hyper focused and learning and then there was the fans who most stood staring in awe. I feel like if I was lucky enough to receive 1 on 1 coaching from Dream (or Harden and a few others in fact) I'd struggle not to just stand there trying to not look stupid and blurt out "can I see the dream shake up close?" haha.
Wemby already has a lot of all time greats to work with within the Spur’s organization. Duncan and Roberson were/are both incredibly skilled players on both ends of the floor. Adding Dream into that mix is almost unforgivable if Wemby is able to put it all together. The potential is off the charts already now add the tutelage of some of the best to ever play. The only thing stopping him from total domination is himself. The Spurs have done the best they could possibly do for him. Wish Duncan would work with our team. I am sure both Sengun and Smith would benefit.
Before the draft, some questioned his generational talent a little but that hype was truthfully real. It all hinges on his health and durability.....that was clear from the start. If joining the Shaolin Temple, playing Soccer and other unorthodox practices can achieve that, so be it.
Money, sex and a Buddhist monk: Head of China’s famed Shaolin Temple under investigation Wemby could just be another sucker scammed by Shaolin's head monk.
I have it on good authority that Dream is pulling a Terry Silver from Karate Kid III and purposely teaching Wimby all the wrong moves and drills.
