As I do now, i'll always give every single person the same energy they give me back tenfold. I'm very consistent if you'd like to check my post history.

That shouldn't be hard. Root for Germany to win the game, but root for Sengun to dominate like an MVP, losing the game because his teammates suck.

That's the very nature of an Only-Fan. The player's success is more important than the team's success.

I think its time to have serious conversation about Sengun moving to PF full time.

There are plenty of reasons for it:
    1. Less physicality, Sengun is only 6'10 he shouldnt be banging with tall guys who play physical like Luke Cornett or Mason Plumlee..Yes he can handle those guys but wear and tear on him over time will pile up and cause injuries. Ask Shaq or Yao.

    2. Dynamism and mid range. Sengun has shown he is more than a typical back to basket player, you can give him the ball from 3 pt line and he will cook. He is especially deadly in the mid range he can hit that flamingo, take guys off the dribble or hit open teammates in motion. Honestly he plays a lot like Giannis if Giannis can hit mid range shots.

    3. Double big dominance: The duo of Adams and Sengun posted insane differential in the regular season. People said it was fools gold/ wouldnt work in the playoffs but clearly that was false, in fact if Jalen didnt generationally wet the bed the Rox would have folded GSW in 5 games. Upgrading from him to KD I think Adams and Sengun would be even more dominant.

    4. Capela: In the past, the big limiter of double big is who plays backup C? Was supposed to be Landale but he played like a scrub and fell off the rotation. Now we have Capela, he is a lot older but as a backup rim runner, shot blocker and defensive big man tbh he is over qualified. Rox have the best center rotation in the league time to maximize it.

    5. Legacy: lets face it Sengun as good as he is wont beat the generational centers in the league. Hakeem, Moses Malone, Dwight, Yao Ming just Rox centers alone its a tough battle. But PF its wide open bro. Who are the best Rockets PFs? Elvin Hayes? 1 yr of washed Barkley? Juwon Howard? Ryan Anderson? Luis Scola? lol

This is a big reason why Tim Duncan always insisted he is a PF. He is the goat PF but only a top 10 center. Sengun will easily go down as the goat Rockets PF if he switches now.

It's such a relief to hear people say "he's just X years old" to highlight how amazing they already are rather than as an excuse for why they are dogshit.

Alpi making Houston and Turkey fans proud!

Long gone are the days when Silas ostracized Sengun and tried to silence his game! Yet that same Silas let KPJ and Green do whatever the heck they wanted in the basketball court. I’m so glad to have a coach like Ime who plays the guys that earn their minutes in practice!!!!!

That’s not how I remember it. ATW was mad that clutch did not respect Sengun. If I remember correctly, after Sengun’s ankle injury in early 2024, I remember a semi-decent game by Landale, and he was featured on the cover of clutchfans. ATW may be Sengun’s no 1 fan, and biased, but make no mistake, he was not delusional, clutch is biased as well.

Ya clutch isn't a sengun worshipper, which is fine. It's his site, he can do what he wants. ATW can make a site to worship his god if he wants. The idea that atw wasn't attacking him over and over for it is laughable at best and outright lying.

I wasn't even criticizing him, part of being an OF of one player is you have to attack those who disagree, it comes with the territory. It's the same for everyone here who does that.

Well, at least we can all agree that our beloved site overlord has turned out to be a bad talent evaluator. First Robert Horry, now Alperen Sengun. Love this site, just don't let the man pick during the draft.

I've never been an only fan though, that's the point. I've supported Sengun since his rookie season also, just search the post history. Y'all just like to try and make up nonsense about people without actually paying attention. I was a big Jalen Green fan, I've never been any kind of only fan, and straight up y'all can suck your mum if you think otherwise my post history is easily searchable.

And at least I'm not a Daryl Morey only fan **** sake lol.

"Attack" is a bit strong. He did troll Clutch repeatedly but other Sengun fans like AlperenSengun also kept mentioning Clutch's bias against Sengun.

IIRC, ATW was banned because of something political he posted. I don't think Clutch has ever banned someone because they argue against his views.

The reason for my bringing up did not have anything to do with clutch though. For me he ha had a strong bias and I was arguing against posters who claimed he did not. Atw was trying to engage with clutch.

and I am pretty sure he did not get banned for those.

I don't recall ATW posting a lot of political stuff in the basketball part of the forum, did he? DD does it constantly, never banned, that one POS in the other alpi thread went full kill all jews antiemetic and wasn't banned (as far as i know, i put him on ignore immediately obviously). Idk if he posted stuff in the d&d, i never go there but the few times i've clicked on it over the decades it seems ANYTHING goes.

fchowd posted a crap ton of political post in the GARM on multiple occasions. He was finally banned for it but he got away with a LOT of crap. As for ATW, he posted something that Clutch took offense to. I am not sure what exactly it was since it was likely deleted. ATW came back under another name for a short while but that one was eventually banned too. I miss ATW and his enthusiasm for Alpi.

Solid points there. I'm buying that idea as soon as I'm convinced sengun can defend stretch 4's outside and offensive scheme is not hurt by lack of spacing or stagnant offense (there are good signs but still...)

All good except for the legacy part. By now we should learn that setting a limit for what he can achieve is meaningless.

Fchowd was the worst of the worst for sure, how he didn’t get banned sooner is crazy
