Wow another Mariners win. I guess we will need to take care of it ourselves when we play them. We have 3 of our best pitchers (Brown Valdez and Alexander) scheduled to pitch at home. I am cautiously optimistic. If we win the series, we will also get the tiebreaker since H2H is 5-5 right now.
Not sure you heard, Valdez is stupidly pitching Sunday. He ain't facing Seattle. But yeah if we can win the series, we are up 2 games in reality. So 11 games left outside that Seattle series, Seattle needing to be 2 games better than us would be significant. Let's just sweep Seattle and get this over with.
We went 19-5 during that hot stretch, so I would think 5 was in there somewhere. Hard to believe we ever went 19-5.
I don't care if it's an over reaction, Stroud wearing that Mariners cap pisses me off. He knew what he was doing.
What? We play Seattle next weekend. Framber pitching Sunday means he will pitch against them. Although not sure that’s even a good thing the way he’s pitched lately.
I keep thinking Seattle is up 1st. So at least Alexander is getting 2 starts. Texas Alexander Javier Blubaugh/Murray Seattle Brown Valdez Alexander
We travel home to play the Rangers before the Mariners come to town. Plus there's an off day on Thursday. Rotation is lined up for 'em.
I have been calling for Zach Cole for weeks. We need all the offense we can get minus Jesus Sanchez because he can't catch a flyball. Or actually Yanier Diaz for that matter because I can't stand his strike zone awareness, or inability to play catcher at a good high school level. But in all seriousness, we need to let that Pecko kid throw some reliever innings. Guys can't barrel him at AAA, for the likes we haven't seen since Hunter Brown.
honestly, I don’t think how the rotation is lined up matters. Other than HB, anything can happen. Javier Valdez blubaugh/murray can all be better or worse than the other. Alexander could turn into a pumpkin tomorrow (not that I fail to appreciate his contributions or brilliance). Big picture, it is about whether the offense produces.
Ethan Pecko an under 2 era in a MILB division who plays with borderline inflatable balloons. Time for the call up. All men on deck!
