I always felt that Jason Lane spent his prime in AAA.

 

Cole became only the 139th player to ever homer in their 1st major league at bat.

I'm going to say he's the first ever to hit a multi HR on the very first pitch they saw.

He's only the 5th Astro to do it.

Without looking it up, can you name any of the other 4?

I’m pretty sure I remember Jimerson did it in Philly his first AB. Don’t remember any others though - pretty sure none of them ended up with significant careers.

I think I saw he was only the 17th to do it on the first pitch

I like that Blubaugh got another win. He just seems to deserve that.
