    with 2.7 this time.

hit garrity wide open, he missed it, francis caught the rebound and shot/tipped it back in with 2.7 then NO didn't get a shot off.

francis and mobley did some good work in the final 2 minutes to blow the game (the others chipped in as well) but they pulled it out again by 1 point.

good thing the magic won, but they probably shouldnt have, davis had a wide open lane and dished it off needlessly to magloire who was open but bobbled the pass since he wasnt expecting baron to pass it off with that little time left. but sometimes its better to be lucky than good :)

We can say though that T-Mac's Rockets just won in a place where Steve's Rockets lost 5 of 6 games the last 3 seasons ... and a team last year's Rockets lost 3 of 4 to.

And we can say Francis' Magic did something T-Mac's couldn't: Win 2 games in November...

Orlando Magic record (with T-Mac) in the month of Nov:

    2001-2002 season: 6-9
    2002-2003 season: 9-7

I'd say T-Mac has won more than 2 games during November while with the Magic...

No need to hate on Francis. It's not like he was the one who demanded a trade. Far from it.

Just B was talking about last season. Last season the Magic didn't win their second game until December I think.

This is a very talented team with lots of excitement. They are going to cause trouble in the east and will be neck and neck with Miami, especially if Hill stay together.

My dissatisfaction is not because of the trade but the fact that we have no resemblance of an offensive scheme or having fun. If we are going to be mediocre, let us at least be fun to watch.

I have no doubt that the rockets will get better and make the playoffs, but I doubt the rockets will be fun to watch until JVG is out of here or we win a championship. Winning a championship is the only way and I can deal with JVG ball. It is just boring, and player look like they are not having fun at all.

I say all this after being one of the biggest proponents of the hiring of JVG. I was wrong.

Man, if only Stevie had discovered his last-second clutchiness in last year's playoffs...

The difference is that Steve has Grant hill to help run the offense, I am pretty sure that TMac would have not demanded a trade if he got a chance to play with Hill.

The Magic will be a lot better this year, Steve, Cat and Cato all are great additions, but Grant Hill is the calming influence, and the biggest difference on that team.

Really. T-Mac's Orlando Magic have never won 2 games in November? Are you sure about that?

2 games into the season and there are Rocket fans already pining for Francis and ripping McGrady. We'll see in 2 months, the same fans will be back on the Rockets bandwagon.

The Orlando Magic split two games with Detroit, great. Comparing the Rockets to the Clippers? Amazing. Funny how the Orlando fans are pouring on the board after a few Rockets losses. After a few Orlando losses they'll disappear.

Agreed. Hill runs the team so smoothly when needed, last night he had 5 assists and only 1 TO. Hill is holding up well, but that team will become unstable when(if) his ankle starts hurting again. They're saying his ankle is 100% healed, but are 'taking it easy with him.' That doesn't sound 100% to me.
