He's got all offseason to try and get his arm right, if he's still looking like this next ST there's no reason they wouldn't/shouldn't cut him and eat the 1 year of salary, or he sees the writing on the wall and retires gracefully.

 

Unfortunately his pitching expired this year

 

Even with all the injuries and expanded rosters... Lance taking that final roster spots is a choice. Yes, the offense is to be blamed, but... there was no fight at all in the bottom of the 12th. Ullola or VanWey need to be called up tomorrow.
