With the exception of 1991 Michael Jordan ALWAYS had more prime Hall of Famers on his roster (and I'm not even including Kukoc). I for one don't care so much about Lebron's losing Finals record when the competition was so much better.

That said I didn't want him on the Rockets when there were rumors floating around he could join Harden and Paul.

Jordan made them HOFers, he made those who played next to him better. LeBron doesn't do that. He often makes his teammates worse, which is why he always had to cynically create super teams because there's no way anyone could build around him normally.

That's not to take anything away from LeBron individually because individually he clearly belongs in the conversation for one of the guys right behind Jordan.

Of course, who's legacy wouldn't it improve?

I think his legacy would be better with just one legitimate ring instead of the 4 manufactured rings he has. He's lucky Draymond short circuited in the Finals.

What kind of question is this? He’d obviously be the GOAT.

him beating the 73 win warriors is the most legit ring in history, pretty easily

Draymond got ejected that series allowing that to happen.

Hakeem's 2nd ring is probably the most legit ring in history.

I mean its a legit ring in that it exists. But little buddy running around for rings makes most of them meh. Including that one.

Ring chaser. Is what it is.

Maybe someday in this world we'll see a legit ring, but i guess we haven't seen one yet. Probably not in my lifetime though.

I feel the injuries to Bogut and Iggy cost the Warriors more so than the Draymond suspension. People tend to forget Bogut got injured in the 1st quarter of game 5 and missed games 6 and 7 and Iggy started dealing with back injuries too, ironically all of this happened in Game 5 when Draymond was out.

If it weren’t for Ray Allen and Kyrie he would only have 2 rings.

It depends how he wins them. If he wins them just being an old-head tagging on to a young team to chase rings then it doesn't help his legacy at all. If he wins a chip and finals MVP in his 40s? Y'all are crazy if you think that doesn't improve his legacy tbh. Longevity is one thing, but we're not talking broken down Vince Carter team bouncing, if he actually puts up MVP candidate numbers and wins it then that "It's just because he's been doing it forever" doesn't hold up because he's not just dragging around his old carcass, that's the real difference.

I feel taking yourself out of availability to play, an ejection, might as well count as an on-court skill. Just like not boxing out, not setting proper screens. An ejection is like 27 straight Rockets missed 3 threes. Draymond was on-court to dictate his playability. He should have played the game better than to get himself ejected.

Or it's like, when they say '95 Jordan wearing #45 "doesn't count". Naaah he was there putting up 60 points games. Don't asterisk* that lol

Sure. Its a good title with some memorable moments. I just think LeBron is a fabrication and a ring chaser. He's behind a lot of players *to me* on the all time list. Basically the superstar version of AC Green. If autotune were a basketball player.

Putting him over Steph is asinine. He also played in the worse conference most of his career and the only thing he has in the West is the bubble ring.
