My suspicion is having Mertz on the 53 and suited up as the Emergency QB under the 2025 rules. I think we would have done that last year with Keenum if he hadn't had a season ending injury before the season.

With Ingram Questionable and no number 2 on the depth chart, I wonder whether they would rearrange the entire line or just fill in if Ingram can't go?

Also, I think I heard they went there today instead of waiting till tomorrow. Do they bring everyone including PS players with them so the entire PS is available for an activation if needed? If not, does the team announce which PS members are traveling?

I'm wondering about Trent Brown and Harrison Bryant in particular though Sidy Sow might be a consideration.
