Why are people blaming the medical staff, all they do is diagnose, they can't STOP injuries....why not look at the pitching coach, maybe that spin rate we are teaching is blowing up players elbows.....

Yep, it's Trump's fault that arm injuries/leg/hand injuries have plagued the Stros this year.

 

Perhaps getting the medical staff involved pre-emptively would help resolve our injury issues.

This is true, but they don't seem to be competent at diagnosis either. Didn't even realize Yordan had a fractured hand until months later when he was taking BP and felt pain.

Pena's rib wasn't fractured, then it was.

Then there is the rehab/treatment failures. Meyers returning way too early and making it worse. Same may be said for Paredes.

I think preventative care is lacking too, the strength and conditioning team needs a long look this offseason.

 

The people who cannot keep politics out of the ASTROS section all come from one side of the political spectrum. And I’m not talking about just this incident. It has always been the case.

These two aren’t going to respond to my posts because they feel entitled. Nor will they delete their posts even though they are wrong. They feel that entitled.

Other people have no problem with keeping politics out.

I am addressing your post because you raised the issue. It needs to be handled by the moderators and die.

Sadly, I do not think Espada is gone after this season.

There were too many non-controllable injury issues. Which will be enough to have him get a bit more rope.
If we start poorly next season he will be gone in short order.

I'm not a supporter of Espada's but I will say a month and a half ago some on this board thought he was in the driver's seat for manager of the year.

 

There will be injuries next year too. Injury prone team.

 

The difference is I am responding to the idiots who cannot keep politics out of the Astros forum. And I am also being 100 percent factually accurate.

 

You’re actually not being close to factually accurate and you did do the same thing, “responding” or not.
