In a perfect world I think Andrews, Ingram (and, hopefully, Fisher) are depth pieces on the line. I'd really like to add an asskicker or two to this group. We'll see how the line holds up when the games are for real.
Looks like the year he's acquired Ersery, Andrews, Robinson and maybe Ingram. This coincides with Caley, Popovich running the offense, ol. Of course Caserio, Caley, Popovich speak the same language when it comes to what they want the offense and ol to look like.
Im already looking at 3 of them from Iowa (Dunker, Jones and Pieper). That program produces the type of lineman Im looking for.
PFF HATE is REAL. I don't know how improved we'll be, but PFF acts like the line is the sum of the individuals in their worst seasons.
1. The promised game planning to maximize the weaknesses of the opponent. 2. Keep the defense uncomfortable by mixing plays on every down. If you want run heavy, still mix in passes on every down rather than become predictable. Same with Pass heavy. Mix in runs enough to keep the Defense honest. 3. I want to see the check outs of bad play selections by C J. 4. I want to see a mostly injury free game. There will always be something. It is NFL Football. I'm counting on depth as an advantage.
