I don’t understand the current political discourse in this sub, or just about anywhere anymore. I read so many posts that just leave me saying “wtf” or “who cares”. The focus, and angles people are taking most of the time just seem off, or bizarre.

That’s actually not true and proof you make up a fantasy of how terrible we are in your head vs who we actually are in reality. You need us to be as terrible as possible to justify your support of a far right movement you know is “fascist to the core” (per gold star veteran John Kelly).

The only poster here anticipating his demise with any glee was DD. There were plenty of us like myself that of course had comments to make about his health but there is nothing wrong with speculating. The throwing out of contents of the White House windows was a wild scene as well. We know the windows are supposed to be sealed shut so it was something serious if it was a real video which it appeared to be.

On his health I’m on record here saying while I think there is obviously.a health issue at hand with the bruising on his hands and swollen ankles, I don’t see someone with late stage congestive heart failure given my experience with relatives that went through that.

He could have CHF given the bruising pointing towards blood thinners but his ability to still hold ALOT of weight, his ability to walk around without looking winded, and his ability to speak for 3 hours points towards someone who isn’t in his last few weeks of CHF. With CHF it can go quick so he could go downhill quick but most of us rational “Libs” understand we should anticipate him living for some time. I see someone who could finish his term and I see no evidence that he’ll go even further than he did in 2021 to try and stay in power illegally and by force if he needs to.

On his health there is nothing wrong with commenting on it objectively. If you aren’t allowed to comment or have an objective statement then that really speaks more about you and your need to treat him like a diety who cannot be questioned which would make you pretty damn extreme yourself.

 

At 80 he looks a thousand times better than you leftard.

(b) trying to avoid doing to Trump what they helped do to Biden (*cough*! TAPPER! *cough*) or
(c) don't want to look like they're perpetuating a conspiracy by simply mentioning, "The President's absence has raised questions / concerns about his health."
