1. Was fired by Trump, but refuses to step down and is now suing (entitled much?) 2. Committed mortgage fraud thrice 3. Had her tenure application VOTED DOWN by her faculty peers at Michigan State. Whoa -- she must have been hated there (or stupid). 4. Falsely claimed her research paper was peer-reviewed, when in fact it was not. Lied. 5. Falsely claimed in Senate Testimony that she was an economist, when in fact she was an economic historian. Lied. Someone show this unqualified, dishonest, fraudulent, DEI hire the door already! This is exactly what's wrong with appointing people who check a diversity box. You get unqualified people, and Cook has the extra bonus of being dishonest!
Last night I was going to respond to this thread with "They are going to defend her" .... But even Powell (and the rest of the board of Gov's) has come out and said the Fed would abide by a court decision. She broke the law and it's pretty clear it was intentional mortgage fraud, she didn't do it once or twice but three times and did so while sitting on the Fed board. Trump shouldn't have had to fire her, she should have resigned immediately. Most don't know that a Fed Governer is nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate. The media so far has taken her side in a fight with Trump .... which is typical, they call it autonomy of the Fed and all but forget that he does have the authority to fire a Fed Gov "For Cause". I think most would agree that multiple felony counts of fraud meet that for cause standard. Her own actions disqualify her from being in charge a child's piggybank much less the nations.
ok. so that makes his mortgage fraud ok then. gotcha. https://www.cbsnews.com/texas/news/ken-angela-paxton-mortgage-primary-residence-homestead-exemption/ Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and his wife, state Sen. Angela Paxton, are longtime owners of a $1.5 million house in a gated community in McKinney. In 2015, they snapped up a second home in Austin. Then another. The problem: Mortgages signed by the Paxtons contained inaccurate statements declaring that each of those three houses was their primary residence, enabling the now-estranged couple to improperly lock in low interest rates, according to an Associated Press review of public records. The lower rates will save the Paxtons tens of thousands of dollars in payments over the life of the loan, legal experts say. The records also revealed that the Paxtons collected an improper homestead tax break on two of those homes at the same time. It is a federal and state crime to knowingly make false statements on mortgage documents. It's also against the law in Texas to collect a homestead tax break on two separate properties.
Not a Paxton nor Cook fan so nothing to prove. What i can say is I'm not an n adult who would name themselves Jo Mama
From my understanding, this is acceptable IF a homeowner is liquidating the previous property. That said, this is a well known tactic to pick up additional real estate and routinely abused. It provide liquidity to the housing market and often over looked/ignored. If a public servant is abusing this process, then they should be held accountable.
convicted felon Trump chronic DUI abuser Hedsegh heroin abuser RFK jr voter fraud violator Tulsi Gabbard established residency in Tx---buying a property/claiming homestead exemption---then voting in Hawaii
If true - How pathetic would it be to hold the position of fed chair and being a landlord over a SFD ... while committing obvious fraud?

34 counts says hi. But I guess this is the retribution half the country voted for, and we generally get the leaders we deserve.
